Made for What's Next: The Summer Blues Collection

Dear friend,

July has a way of making me pause. Summer is still here, still slow and warm, but I can feel the shift already. August is coming, and with it, the start of something new. New classrooms. New dorms. New chapters for so many.

A couple of weeks ago, a neighbor asked if I’d make a few key fobs and key chains for her grandchildren heading off to college. Something small they could carry with them into that next thing.

Three key fobs in Gingham Blue, Avery Blue, and Plaid Blue, each finished with brass hardware for the Summer Blues collection.

As I was making them, I realized how long it had been since I’d made key fobs and key chains. And I wanted to do it again, but this time I wanted to do it right. Not just a print here and there, but a full collection, made with care before the school year began.

I've been intentional with what I chose. I'm calling this the Summer Blues collection. Eight fabrics in a palette of blue, cream, and speak red. Prints to each other, that feel like they belong together. Key fobs, lanyards, and key chains in each one, so there's a way for everyone to carry their keys into what's next.

Eight fabric lanyards in blue, cream, and red prints hanging with brass swivel clasps.

Eight lanyards, each in its own print in blue, cream, and red, ready to carry keys into what's next.

And for the teachers stepping back into the classroom, I hope there’s something here for you too. A fresh lanyard for a new year feels like a small kind of readiness.

Polkadot Blue, Harper Blue, and Gingham Blue keychains, a small bit of readiness for whatever's next.

Whether it’s a gift for someone starting something new, or a little something for yourself, these were made to be with you in the everyday.

The collection is now live in the shop.

Whether you pick one up or simply follow along, I hope a little of this season finds its way to you. Thank you for being here, friend. It means more than you know.
