A Quiet Holiday Update from My Sewing Table

December always seems to arrive faster than I expect. One minute I’m finishing up fall orders, and the next I’m surrounded by early sunsets, twinkling lights, and that familiar feeling that the year is gently asking us to slow down.

As the holidays settle in, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Whether you’ve been following along for a while or you’re just finding your way here, your support truly means the world to me. Every order, kind message, and shared recommendation allows me to keep doing this work I love, making thoughtful pieces by hand, one at a time.

Lately, my days have been spent much the same way I like them best. Quiet mornings at the sewing machine, stacks of linen waiting to be cut, and finished bags resting on the table beside me. There is something especially comforting about making during this season. The pace feels right, and each piece feels a little more intentional.

This holiday collection came together naturally from that rhythm. I found myself drawn to calm, familiar tones and simple designs that feel useful without feeling ordinary. These are pieces meant to blend seamlessly into everyday life, now and well beyond the holidays.

Out of those hours at the sewing table came a small selection of linen zipper bags and quilted boxy pouches that I am especially proud of. They are designed to hold everyday essentials with ease, from makeup and skincare to notebooks, glasses, and on the go items. You can explore the current collection here

I have also included a few smaller zipper pouches and coin bags that make thoughtful, easy gifts. They are practical, well made, and just right for tucking into a stocking or wrapping simply. You can find those here

Shop Accessories

If you are doing some holiday shopping, these pieces make lovely gifts for daughters, sisters, friends, and teachers. And if you have been meaning to treat yourself to something handmade and lasting, I hope you will feel good about doing that too.

Everything in the shop is made by me in small batches here in California, with care given to each detail from the fabric choices to the finishing touches. Quantities are naturally limited, not to rush anyone, but because I value keeping the process personal and unhurried.

Thank you for being here, for supporting handmade, and for taking the time to read this little update from my sewing table. I hope your holiday season is filled with warmth, meaningful moments, and a bit of calm along the way.

With gratitude,

Jen
