A New Quilted Linen Collection from My Sewing Table
The new quilted linen collection in oat, olive, dusty blue, oat stripe, and dusty blue stripe
If you read my March update, you might remember me mentioning that I was working on quilted linen pouches in my regular sizes. They took some time, but they’re finally ready, and I’m so happy with how they came together.
A few of you reached out over the last year asking when I would bring quilted linen back, and I knew when I did, I wanted to take my time with it. These pouches take longer to make than my regular ones, but the quilting is what gives them that softness and structure I love.
This collection comes in five linens. Three solids in oat, olive, and dusty blue, and two stripes in oat stripe and dusty blue stripe. Each one is made in four sizes, the large zipper bag, the small zipper bag, the zipper pouch, and the coin pouch.

I went a little different this time with the lining. The outside stays calm and minimal, the way I like my bags to look, but I wanted there to be a small surprise when you opened them. I picked a patchwork print that felt a bit more adventurous than what I usually reach for, and I love the way it pops against the linen.
For anyone who prefers something quieter, the oat, olive, and dusty blue pouches are also available with my usual cream cotton lining. So you can choose the version that feels right for you.
The patchwork lining is just for this drop. I don’t plan to bring it back in future quilted collections, so if you’ve been drawn to it, this is the moment for it.

The two stripe linens, oat stripe and dusty blue stripe, are a little different. I made just four of each size in the stripes, and they only come with the solid cream lining. I wanted to keep them simple and let the stripes speak for themselves.
These quilted pouches are going to become a regular part of what I make going forward. I’ll keep introducing new linen colors with both lining options where it makes sense, but the patchwork stays here in this collection.
